Within our network of Portuguese alliances is Linha de Fuga, located in the city of Coimbra. Led by curator Catarina Saraiva, Linha de Fuga is a structure for artistic programming and dissemination that aims to be an active agent in developing critical discourses between art, culture, politics, education, and society in conjunction with various local and international agents.
Linha de Fuga seeks to break down barriers between art and knowledge, experimenting with formats of production, creation, research, training, and programming based on local contexts, but always with an international perspective. Its main activity is the Creation Laboratory and International Festival Linha de Fuga, which takes place biennially.
