A Casa das Máquinas is a municipal space of the Santiago City Council located in the Galeras neighborhood, designed for multipurpose use. The building is a historic structure in the city (built in 1919 as an electrical transformer station) that was restored in 2024, with its roof rebuilt and stone walls renovated. Today, it hosts various community and cultural activities.
