Caldo de Cultivo PAM
In March 2026, together with PAM —the Association of Professionals in Dance and Movement Arts in Galicia— we co-organized the association’s spring gathering. Under the title Caldo de Cultivo (“Breeding Ground”), each of these meetings seeks to create a space for cohesion and debate among PAM members, mediated each time by a different agent or space within the territory.
In this context, ESPAZO RPM became a temporary home for a session designed by Caterina Varela and Félix Fernández entitled Caleidoscopio, multiplicar la mirada (“Kaleidoscope, Multiplying the Gaze”). The dynamic revolved around collective knowledge and the perception of others. Through a methodology based on exchange and role-shifting, the proposal created a space for listening, projection, and mutual recognition among participants, fostering new connections and displacing previous imaginaries surrounding the identities and trajectories present within the group.
PAM
PAM is an association of professionals in the field of dance and movement arts, created from shared feelings, affinities, and desires to support and advocate for the dignity of the professional dance community in Galicia.
It brings together a broad and diverse network of independent professionals, companies, associations, creation spaces, festivals, teachers, cultural managers, and choreographers.
The association works in a coordinated and democratic way to ensure the sector’s representation and presence within Galicia’s political, social, and cultural context and horizon.
From a plural perspective, PAM is committed to the potential of gathering and interconnection as a response to the structural challenges currently faced by the sector.
