A chance encounter with a technofossil sent from a future time marks several events in a journey in which we establish contact through biochemical communication systems with unicellular beings, revealing how the micro affects the macro—matter that vibrates and affects us, creating relationships, effects, and possibilities.
A staged work structured in multiple layers that interact with one another: live music, vibrating matter, the non-human, microorganisms as active agents on stage. Voices of thinkers such as Bruno Latour, Blaise Pascal, and Lynn Margulis accompany us on this sensorial journey.
Music, cinema, and performance intertwine to create a shared language. BFlecha, Mwëslee, Diana Toucedo – with Federico Vladimir and Pablo Lilienfeld as collaborators– converge to generate a greater collective force.
BFlecha, Mwëslee & Diana Toucedo
BFlecha is the stage name of producer, composer, and singer Belén Vidal. A pioneer in the Ibero-American electronic scene, she has spent over a decade blending sonic avant-garde with pop instinct. Since her debut album βeta (2013), she has continuously explored new sounds, evolving through Kwalia (2017) and reaching a peak with ExNovo (2021). She has performed at festivals such as Sónar and Primavera Sound and internationally across the US, Japan, Germany, and the UK. She has also composed for film, notably in works by Diana Toucedo such as Camille & Ulysse (2021). She co-runs Arkestra Discos with Mwëslee.
Mwëslee is the alias of Diego Cobo, an electronic music producer blending futuristic RnB, advanced electronics, and avant-jazz sensibilities. A founding member of Arkestra and participant in Red Bull Music Academy (Seattle, 2005), his work has been supported by DJs such as Gilles Peterson and featured in publications like Fact and Resident Advisor. He has performed internationally and is considered part of the forefront of 21st-century experimental hip hop.
Diana Toucedo is a filmmaker and editor working at the intersection of cinema and research. Her work has been featured in major festivals such as Berlinale, San Sebastián, and Visions du Réel. She has edited over 35 feature films, and her debut Trinta Lumes (2018) received international acclaim. Her works include Camille&Ulysse (2021) and Tatuado nos ollos levamos o pouso (2022). She is currently developing her first fiction feature while teaching and pursuing academic research.
